PostSubject: Commonwealth Recruiting OK D-Day 2010, June 7-13   Mon Nov 23, 2009 12:06 am

Men and Women of the Empire!

The Commonwealth is expanding and we are looking for players with energy, drive, determination, and discipline to fill our ranks. As part of the Commonwealth Expeditionary Force, you will be called upon to lead Commonwealth offensive efforts across the length and breadth of the D-Day battlefield.

The Commonwealth brings together men and women from the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Bosnia, Finland, Sweden, Holland and Australia. In 2010, we hope to add Belgium and Malaysia! Our players come from every walk of life, and every conceivable background. We welcome all levels of experience, from the first time player to the seasoned veteran. We are looking for candidates who exhibit personal integrity and sportsmanship, who can think and react independently, who have the discipline and strength of character to effectively represent the Regiment and the Commonwealth and who can work effectively as a member of a larger team. You will be called upon to accomplish objectives in the face of overwhelming German opposition. You will be required to move quickly and quietly over vast distances, to assault fortified positions, and to coordinate your actions with other Commonwealth and Allied forces.

The Commonwealth is its own self contained section of the allied forces and has its own Airbourne, Infantry, Special Forces, Armour, Anti-tank and Artillery groups. Our force is tight knit... You ALWAYS know where the Commonwealth is, where we camp, who we are. We’ve reactivated a unit, the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. Along with the 13th/18th Light Dragoons, they are both wide open for troop billets. This would be an opportune time for a team to become the core element of either unit and make a name for themselves. We are also actively seeking tankers to join the 13th/18th Royal Hussars. From what I have been told by the Head Game Coordinator, the insurance for the paintball tanks will be covered by the Promoter. That’s $150 the tank owner doesn’t have to come out of pocket with. The CEF also offers inexpensive group dining and group barracks, along with help in planning your trip to D-Day. With players coming 10K miles, no, it’s not too far away or too expensive.

If you wish to join any unit in the First Expeditionary Force of the Commonwealth, please send an email to the commander of the unit of your choice.

Hello Troops!
Only 106 days, until the event starts! I can’t wait!
The Commonwealth 6th Airborne is nearly filled and the 3rd Infantry has some good numbers. This is a great opportunity for players to join up, make a national name for themselves and create a lasting paintball impression and Commonwealth traditions. The registration fee at the D-Day site goes up on April 1st, from $70 to $100, so register as soon as you can. Register at http://ddayadventurepark.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16_12_2_6 for the British 9th PIR or the Canadian 1st PIB. Register at http://ddayadventurepark.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16_12_2_5 for the British East Yorkshire Regiment, Canadian Royal Winnipeg Rifles or Canadian Scottish Regiment. Register at http://ddayadventurepark.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16_12_2_8 for the British 41 (Forty-One) Royal Marines Commando. Register at http://ddayadventurepark.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16_12_2_7 for the British 13th/18th Royal Hussars or the British 13th/18th Light Dragoons.
So far, we will have players from the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Holland and Australia. Come and be part of the largest international paintball scenario team in the world. These players are some of the best scenario players the world has to offer and hold the ideals of Sportsmanship and Honour in the highest regard.
Visit our web site at www.ddaycommonwealth and register with the forum to get the latest information on D-Day events scheduled, Commonwealth events scheduled, training, Military Full Auto Shoot, Conex barracks rental or purchase, group dining, uniform and t-shirt sales and North American convoy schedules. We are now taking preorders for everything the Commonwealth offers to the troops. Soft goods will be delivered at the event, unless you desire to have it sent to you. Convoys and Conex rental or purchase are offered to any player going to D-Day. Airport player pick-up is offered to Commonwealth troops and bonafide journalists only. If you have any questions, please email me at HarlyHunk@hotmail.com.

See you on the field!

Cheers

It’s time to order Player Packs, t-shirts, uniform articles, patches, rent/buy sea containers and register for the full auto shoot. Visit the Commonwealth web site to see what we have at www.ddaycommonwealth.com . Once you decide what you want, send in your order by email to HarlyHunk@hotmail.com and indicate if you would like to pay by PayPal, check or M.O. Also indicate if you would like to have on hand items shipped to you. Otherwise, you can pick up everything at the event. If you order uniforms and patch sets, please let me know if you want the patches sewn on for $10. As always, send your questions to HarlyHunk@hotmail.com .

Cheers
